Finding a church home made easier.

Doxa is a church that loves Jesus. We are a multi-generational church, which means you’ll see families with small kids, college students, and grandparents too, just to name a few. We have people that have been following Jesus for decades, and people who are just learning about him for the first time.

Sunday mornings are a great time to try Doxa out and get a feel for who we are. Sundays are a time we celebrate the good news about Jesus that has changed our lives. We offer great biblical teaching every Sunday. Parking is free, and the coffee is provided by Anchorhead.

Gatherings are on Sundays at 9am and 11am.

Where is Doxa?

Our Sunday gathering space and offices are located in Redmond, near Whole Foods on East Lake Sammamish Blvd, just off of 520.

That said, "where is Doxa?" is a trickier question than you might think. The Bible teaches that the word "church", isn’t the same as how it’s used today. The church is not a building, it is a people. More specifically, the gathering of God's people under qualified leadership. In one sense, Doxa is located all over the Eastside! A lot of the people who make up Doxa gather in homes around the Eastside throughout the week to do life together. On Sundays we gather together at the address above, and we'd love to have you join us.

What are Sundays like at Doxa?

We gather together.

With 1,000s of sermons online and world-class communicators available at the click of a button, it's important to remember that the church gathers not just to hear the Bible preached but to experience the presence of others. Sunday conversations over coffee and a treat are a simple way we say that human relationship can not be substituted with anything digital.

We sing together.

Multiple music teams rotate to lead the congregation in songs that are theologically tested, and thematically tied to the sermon. We strive for a balanced worship diet. We sing songs that encourage us, call us to leave sin behind, and say what is true about God. Hymns are included in our catalog as well as newer songs that are useful to gathered worship.

We hear God's word preached together.

Doxa always preaches from the bible, and frequently through books of the Bible. (both Old and New Testaments). Any Sunday you visit will have solid, biblical teaching that is gospel-centered and designed to help you follow Christ in the everyday. We offer age-appropriate Bible curriculum for children because they are disciples too.

We celebrate.

Other elements you might see on a Sunday include celebrating baptisms, stories of God's work in the lives of our people, and celebrating new leaders and parents! There is a lot to celebrate!

We pray together.

Prayer empowers everything that matters. Our staff team prays each week as we prepare the plans for each Sunday, we take time to pray in our gatherings every Sunday, and we offer prayer for anyone who wants it after each gathering as well.

Additionally, our prayer team leads weekly prayer at 6pm at our facility on Wednesdays. All are welcome.

We get connected.

Sundays are essential for the discipleship of the believer, but not sufficient. That’s why Sundays point our people toward two ministry environments, what we call Missional Communities and DNA groups. Learn more about those on our community page.

What’s music like at Doxa?

Below are a few recordings we’ve made of songs we play on Sundays. We cover a lot of territory and styles, but we always include a mix of modern and historical music, all of which is rich theologically and is accessible for the room on Sundays. Our music teams rotate, but every Sunday features biblical and excellent music to help us express gratitude to Jesus.

How do you get connected at Doxa?

Connecting to a church is a big decision! If you’re new with us, the best first step for getting connected is to attend our monthly Meet and Greet where you’ll learn more about who Doxa is and what we believe. You’ll also get to meet some staff and elders and ask any questions you may have. Kids are welcome. Bring your questions, and we'll provide the refreshments.
