Multiplying integrated disciples of Jesus, even kids!
We want the Eastside to look more like heaven, and that includes our kids! We partner with parents in three primary environments: home, community, and on Sunday mornings.

Classroom Info:
Our six classrooms are organized by age and grade level, and all teach age-appropriate lessons with the following goals:
Hedgehogs: Age 1, HEAR: Our babies will HEAR the word of God read and prayed over them.
Squirrels: Ages 2-3, SAY: Once kids can speak, we help them SAY the word of God by repeating back scripture shared in class.
Owls: Ages 4-5, LEARN: Our preschoolers will LEARN the word of God by listening and engaging with the Bible story each week.
Foxes: Grades K-1, MEMORIZE: Early school age kids will MEMORIZE the word of God, focusing on a key verse.
Bears: Grades 2-3, APPLY: The 2nd & 3rd grade kids will APPLY the word of God to their lives through questions and answers from the lesson together.
Moose: Grades 4-5, SHARE: Our oldest kids will learn to SHARE the word of God with others where they live, learn, and play.
We invite our parents to pick up their kid(s) during the reflection time of our gathering to bring them back to worship together!

How Check-In Works
We use a check in system through Planning Center that provides a matching safety code for you and your kids. Check in begins 15 minutes before the gathering and closes about 20 minutes after the gathering begins. If you are new to Doxa Kids, please arrive a few minutes early as it will take about 5 minutes to add your family to the system. You will need to set up you own contact information first before adding kids, which allows us to contact you during the gathering if needed. Any Doxa Family team member can help you with the check in process.
