WHAT’S CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT THIS YEAR AT DOXA?
There are very few things that bring us joy like family coming together around the Holiday season. That said, no one’s family is perfect. For many of us, the holidays are reminders that we have broken families, have loss in our families, or have NO family to speak of at all.
While God’s original design for family was that it would be a gift, the idea of family for some can feel like a curse. The family tree leading up to Jesus’ entrance in the Christmas story shows a family line that is just as broken as some of ours. Join us to see how God works in the midst of five female ancestors of Jesus.
What hope do we have if family is tough, painful, or even absent? Be with us this Advent as we explore the answer.

We like to celebrate so we'll have all the usual fun things out:
-our photobooth for families and friends
-the hot cocoa bar
-candles and Christmas carols
-great programming for kids
-a service that tells the story of Jesus being born into the world
-all kid's classrooms will be open for all three services
-our annual Christmas ornament giveaway
