Along with each of the points of doctrine above, Doxa Church holds 5 additional distinctive that guide us in our doctrine and ministry philosophy. They are stated as follows:

  1. Jesus is the hero of the Bible and the hero of every story.

  2. We embrace God’s sovereignty in saving sinners with enthusiasm.

  3. We recognize and rest upon the necessity of the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit for all of life

  4. We are deeply committed to the fundamental, spiritual and complementary equality of male and female and to men as responsible servant-leaders in the home and church.

  5. We embrace a missionary understanding of the local church and its role as the primary means by which God chooses to establish his kingdom on earth.
